Listings and business accounts

Business owners may claim a listing and subscribe to a paid plan. When you create an account or claim a listing you agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and to hold the rights to any content you submit. We may edit, suspend, or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or in breach of these terms.

Reviews and submitted content

Reviews must describe your own genuine experience. Do not post content that is false, unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights. You keep ownership of what you submit and grant RangeFinder LLC a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site. We may remove content that breaches these rules.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid listing plans are billed through Stripe on behalf of RangeFinder LLC. Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you selected until cancelled. You can cancel or change your payment method at any time from the billing page in your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled first.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep directory information current, but we do not warrant that listings, contact details, licences, availability, or pricing are complete or accurate. Verify anything important — including licensing and insurance — directly with the business. The site is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Wyoming law, RangeFinder LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or for any dispute between you and a listed business.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Privacy policy

What we collect

We collect the information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, and any message content when you submit an enquiry, create an account, claim a listing, or leave a review. For business accounts we also hold the listing details you provide. We record basic usage analytics (pages viewed, referring page, approximate location by town) to understand how the directory is used.

How we use it

We use your information to route enquiries to the businesses you contact, to operate your account and subscription, to send service email such as sign-in links and billing notices, and to improve the directory. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

When you send an enquiry to a listed business, your enquiry and contact details are shared with that business so it can respond. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf — Stripe for payments and an email delivery provider for outbound mail. We may disclose information where required by law.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Session information needed to keep you signed in is held for the duration of your visit only.

Retention and your choices

We keep account, listing, and billing records for as long as your account is active and as long afterwards as we need to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to unsubscribe from non-essential email, by contacting us.
